This is where we post what happens at the meetings, and what you can do to help turn CT back toward values and prosperity.
No matter what we’re talking about on any given week, getting people registered to vote is a big priority. That can be done online, or at your local town office. Making the commitment to get out and vote is in no way trivial.
But we can do more! This is from Lorraine Herger.
Hello, Everyone!
Thank you for your volunteering for the 'Vote Early CT' effort to register 100k new, conservative voters in CT by the end of this year. It is a BIG and ambitious goal, but one we can achieve by banding together and working to make it a reality. Let's make CT Great!

With a coordinated team, we can take Connecticut back from being a one-party state, dominated by the Democrats, and step-by-step take our state back to being an affordable, safe environment with good schools in all our communities, with thriving businesses of all sizes that bring good jobs, health benefits, and employ our citizens. We need to push for fiscal responsibility, lower taxes, lower energy costs, fewer regulations that hinder growth of private enterprise, election integrity, safety and security in our community, support for 2nd amendment rights, family values. We may not agree on every issue, but one thing I am sure we agree on: having a larger majority of CT conservative representatives in Hartford, and in Washington in order to steer our state back to common sense values, and away from the far left policies that are destroying our state.
Where do we start? In the 2024 presidential election, Community Activist, Scott Presler founded Early Vote Action (https://earlyvoteaction.com/), a grassroots effort to register conservative voters. Scott and a small team campaigned and registered at fairs, farmers markets, fraternity houses, gun stores, American Legion Halls, supermarkets, gas stations, football games, churches, etc. Their motto is: ‘Meet people where they are’ register voters, talk to their issues.
Scott's community activism turned Pennsylvania RED, and helped secure the White House for President Trump. Thanks to Early Vote Action there are now more Republican voters in Pennsylvania than Democrats - a feat no one thought was possible two years ago. This is the game plan we need to follow in CT!!
We can run our voter campaign in a similar way.
Below are some ideas for voter registration locales. If each person can commit just 1-2 hours a month to voter registration, over the next year, I believe we can achieve our goal to eclipse the Democrats in CT.
The plan is not complicated, but will take effort to achieve.
Each volunteer:
Attend 1-2 events and register voters. For instance, there are many farmers markets, fairs, outdoor shows, all over CT in the spring/summer/fall, so plenty of opportunities to volunteer to register voters. I am putting together a 'kit' that volunteers can take to each event (table, chairs, signs, voter forms, etc.)
Can you suggest other local events, in Danbury and the surrounding towns for doing voter registration?
Do you belong to a a community or church group (VFW, American Legion, Knights of Columbus, etc.) ? Reach out to the group leaders and find out about running a voter registration session at your group's meeting or event.
4. Publicize our voter registration effort on all your social media accounts, and spread the word to family and friends. If anyone needs help on writing up social media posts, let me know. I am happy to help.
5. Enlist more volunteers (volunteers can sign up on the website: https://voteearlyct.com/)
6. Post a short video on the vote early ct website, showing your support.
https://voteearlyct.com/
I can help with this, if someone would like to do it.
7. Do you know anyone who is a prominent republican or supporter of conservative values? Ask that person to help publicize our efforts via social media, with posts or videos.
8. Talk about the effort at all Republican events you attend, and engage other GOP members.
9. Share this email with everyone you know!
10. other ideas?
