This is where we post what happens at the meetings, and what you can do to help turn CT back toward values and prosperity.
No matter what we’re talking about on any given week, getting people registered to vote is a big priority. That can be done online, or at your local town office. Making the commitment to get out and vote is in no way trivial. If you aren’t registered, get on that.
Here’s a link to the CT Common Cents podcast.
First, some numbers. The group on X has grown to 212 members as of this morning, and 22 newsletter subscribers. Please invite people to the group and share the newsletter with your friends! Share the newsletter and podcast on other platforms! The more numbers we have the more we can get done!
Yesterday, Selina had a nice chat with a member of CT Intercessors for America. She went to Ben Proto’s birthday party where she met John Seravalli, co-chair for the Republican National Committee. He’s traveled all over the country doing trainings for political action. He’s never done one in CT, but would be happy to! He believes there are towns and cities here that could be flipped in the next local election cycle, which is coming up soon!
For that, we need to focus not just on our own towns, but give some time and love to those places where change can happen relatively easily. It’s like a barn raising. Help your neighbors, and they will help you. The Democrats have had a super majority in the CT legislature since 2017. This is why they’ve gotten away with so much crap and become one of the most corrupt states in the country.
For now, start engaging with your local Republican Town Committee [RTC] You can find the listing here. Some have web pages, many don’t, and appear moribund [like Ansonia]. If there’s no meeting listed, email the contact. If they don’t get back to you, go to the meeting closest to you and find out how to get the one in your town going. Here’s a list of the meetings and locations in alphabetical order. If your town isn’t in the list below, I couldn’t find a meeting. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. For example, New Haven has a meeting, but it’s not listed.
You’ll note that there is NO WEBSITE for Hartford or Bridgeport.
I’ll keep updating this list.
